PLA (Polylactic Acid)
PLA (Polylactic acid) is a biodegradable and very strong plastic. It is the best material for printing large parts. That is possible thanks to it’s very low thermal expansion. It is available in a range of colours.

PLA advantages
- Printing of large parts is much easier with almost no warping
- No chemical odors are produced during printing
PLA disadvantages
- Parts start to loose mechanical strength at temperatures over 60 °C
Printing information
- 190°C - 220°C printing temperature
- 40°C - 60°C heated bed temperature but only for bigger parts
