====== PLA (Polylactic Acid) ======

PLA (Polylactic acid) is a biodegradable and very strong plastic. It is the best material for printing large parts. That is possible thanks to it’s very low thermal expansion. It is available in a range of colours.

=== PLA advantages ===

    * Printing of large parts is much easier with almost no warping
    * No chemical odors are produced during printing

=== PLA disadvantages ===

    * Parts start to loose mechanical strength at temperatures over 60 °C

    * 190°C - 220°C printing temperature
    * 40°C - 60°C heated bed temperature but only for bigger parts
